* Friday morning we loaded up the car and headed home from our week long vacay in California.
There’s no tired quite like a Disneyland tired.
We ate too much, walked too much and played too hard.
All very much worth it!
{Full recaps of our adventures coming tomorrow!}
* During the 5 1/2 hour drive home I studied THIS wonderful article sent to me by a dear friend.
It’s all about raising resilient children and I loved every last thing about it.
If you have an extra couple of minutes, I HIGHLY recommend reading it!
* Most of our Saturday was spent plopped on our couches, watching General Conference.
It’s one of my favorite weekends of the year!
Not because we get to watch church at home in our jammies {although that is an added bonus!}…but because of the messages delivered and the testimonies shared.
* Saturday night, London and I headed over to my Mom and Dad’s house to watch the General Women’s Session with my cute niece, sister and Mom.
We ordered pizza, the girls painted rocks and we listened to the leaders and Prophet of our Church.
It was good for my soul.
I absolutley ADORED Sister Aburto’s talk, as well as the rest of them and I’m so excited about all of the new changes taking place!
* More General Conference on Sunday.
I tried a new {to me} breakfast casserole recipe…
It was super yummy!!
I think the next time I make it, I’ll add in some chopped green chiles. Bonus: You can make it up the night before and leave it in the fridge til it’s time to bake!
* Sunday night we headed over to Joe’s parent’s house for family dinner.
It’s so fun being able to get together with everyone on a regular basis. Our kids are SO lucky to have cousins and grandparents, aunts and uncles, so close by.
We cherish our time spent with them.
