* Friday morning I met a dear friend for breakfast HERE.
See those potatoes? That’s exactly how I like em.
SO yummy.
* The rest of my day was spent going from one thing to the next – – all in an effort to accomplish as much as possible before the kids got out of school. 3:05 pm marked the official start to their FALL BREAK for 2 1/2 weeks and heaven knows – – I’m not gonna get much done now for awhile.
LoL.
* Date night Friday night.
We snarfed down food at Someburros…
{Holy sour cream!}…
And then went to the temple.
I know I must sound like a broken record player but – –
I sure do love this place.
It truly amazes me how much I learn, each time I go.
* Saturday morning breakfast consisted of homemade french toast with Kneaders cinnamon swirl bread.

If you have never tried this bread – – you should really add it to your list of things to do.
* I plopped myself on my couch for the rest of the day and watched General Conference.
Can I just tell you HOW MUCH I LOVE President Uchtdorf?
Did he admit that he loved diet soda?? Why yes…YES HE DID!!!!

EVEN MORE SO now!
* While Joe and my dad went out to dinner and then on to watch the Priesthood session, the kids and I celebrated their good grades for the quarter with dinner at Floridinos.
* Sunday we kicked it at home and watched more of General Conference.
SO many good messages this weekend – –
it made my heart feel full.
* Other things making heart happy?….
The fact that it RAINED!
And because rain is such a rare occurrence here in the desert – – the kids feel the need to play outside in it EVERY single time.
* We ended the weekend over at my sister’s house with cake and ice-cream for my sweet niece who turned 11 today.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHLOE and
HAPPY OCTOBER!!!!
I am SO excited for these next few months.
