*Friday morning started out at my happy place.
When I have a lot of stuff to get done on my laptop, I love going here because a) their wi-fi and b) their endless Diet Dr. Pepper. Ok and c) their pb choc chip cookies.
* Afterwards, I headed out to Scottsdale to do some shopping. There are a couple of fun thrift shops around where Joe works and since I’m obsessed with thrift shops these days….I couldn’t resist.
There’s ALWAYS something that catches my eye at Goodwill.
This one made me think ‘What the heck?!’ ๐
My only purchase of the morning was this sweet movie.
I bought it for 99 cents.
Have you seen it?!?
Oh my goodness…it’s the sweetest little movie. Joe and I saw it a long time ago and I bought it to show our kids – I think they’ll LOVE it!
I swung by Joe’s work to grab him for lunch…
Can you even STAND how perfect this kitchen is?
It’s on display in one of his showrooms and I seriously drool over it ever time I go there. I NEED that turquoise hood and stovetop.
Lunch date at Kneaders.
Their ‘Turkey Cranberry Sunflower’ salad is my fave.
* Friday night was boys night at my house.
I let the boys invite some friends over for pizza and video games. But first…
…we had to make a beverage run.
Nothin like feeding em full of caffeine, right? ๐
I sure love this age that my boys are at right now.
They are SO darn funny.
* Saturday I sat on my couch for most of the day and watched General Conference.
Getting my kids to pay attention is ALWAYS a struggle.
Who’s with me?
Also….how much did everyone LOVE Elder Renlund’s talk?
* Saturday night was Grant’s first official General Priesthood session.
Joe snapped this one on their way into the church building and ๐๐๐ it’s my new favorite pic of Grant and my dad!!!
I just LOVE it!
While they were gone…the rest of us headed over to the park for a potluck picnic with friends.
The weather was perfect and thanks to my sweet friend Austin…the kids were easily entertained with these massive bubbles.
* More Conference on Sunday.
Gosh, I love hearing our prophet speak.
He touched my heart.
Joe discovered a new conference snack…
He calls this the ‘Trump & M’ and he thought this was the funniest thing EVER. {Doesn’t take much to make us laugh}.
* We had fun friends over for dinner on Sunday night.
We sat outside and ate dessert while the kids played.
{Have I mentioned that the weather here has been DREAMY lately?}
Grant’s new favorite thing is to ride his longboard while taking Cubby on a walk with his leash.
Oh! And meet Cubby’s brother Lucca…
About a week after we adopted Cubby, my friend adopted his brother from the same place. They look SO much alike. Except for the hair.
Fun Fact: Did you know that a momma doggie can get pregnant with multiple dads at the same time? True story. Cubby had 7 siblings and they ALL looked a little different. Weird, right?
