* We kicked off the weekend with popcorn and soda for breakfast on Friday. The summer movie of the week was ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’. I don’t care how many times we’ve seen a movie – – Popcorn + a/c is ALWAYS a good idea in the middle of the summer in Arizona.
* The rest of the afternoon was spent doing chores and making sugar cookies for a few friends.
Not my prettiest batch but they sure were tasty!
* Date night Friday night at our favorite Chinese restaurant.
Their egg drop soup {WITH crunchy noodles} and orange chicken is 😍😍😍.
Reminds me of my very favorite spot back in northern Virigina where I grew up.
* Saturday morning we took the kids out for donuts.
{Shocking, I know.}
We got a car wash afterwards and put the kids to work vacumming out the gross-ness from our recent road trip.
Sodas afterwards for a job well done…
* I dropped London off at my niece’s birthday party Saturday night while I went grocery shopping, the boys played with friends and Joe worked at home.
{We’re so exciting, huh?😜}
This little mystery dinner at the make-shift ‘Flamingo Cafe’ was the cutest thing ever! My sister throws the BEST parties!
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
So good to be back after being gone for 2 weeks.
Definitely needed the spiritual uplift.
* Naptime afterwards and then dinner at some of our favorite friends’ house on Sunday night.
And just because my girlfriend is always stealing phones and taking selfies….
Totally gross but she deserves it.
