* Friday was a pretty big day.
London got to go into work with Joe – something she’s been DREAMING about for awhile now. ๐
She picked out her outfit, borrowed a briefcase from Grandpa Lamoreaux and even insisted on bringing her own hot pink rolling desk chair from her bedroom.
She was on CLOUD 9!
And completely exhausted afterwards! ๐
* Friday night we met up with my side of the family for dinner at Joe’s Farm Grill.
My sweet nephew is headed out to Nebraska for the summer to do summer sales and so we had one last hoorah with him!
The weather was perfect and it was so nice to be able to sit outside and eat.
The corn fritters with honey mustard sauce stole the show.
{Try em if you go!}
* Saturday we attended the baptism of our dear friend Alexis.
Alexis is a mom and a wife and one of the sweetest people we know. My heart wanted to burst right outta my chest when she was baptized. The spirit in the room was so very strong and we felt so very grateful to be apart of it.
* We partied it up at her house afterwards…
They had the biggest, foamiest, bubble machine I have EVER seen in their backyard and London loved every second of it!
* Saturday night we celebrated Easter with Joe’s side of the family!
We ate yummy food, had an Easter egg hunt….
Played Tug of War…
…and then my Mother-in-Law shared some very special stories about her ancestors.
It was such a fun night, being all together!
* The Easter bunny came on Easter morning!
{I feel like our Easter bunny gets more tired each year.}
No pictures, no eggs dyed, no plastic eggs even hidden.
Just baskets filled up and placed on the kitchen table.
That’s enough, right?
* Cars stayed home sick from church…
While the rest of us went and heard my parents speak in their Sacrament meeting…
Hearing my Mom and Dad share their own personal testimonies of our Savior Jesus Christ, on Easter, was oh so special to me. It’s something I’ll hold near and dear to my heart forever.
* Easter dinner was over at my parent’s house…
My mom randomly found some of my old Garbage Pail Kids and it was like a major BLAST from the PAST looking through all of them!
We had our traditional ham dinner with cheesey potatoes, broccoli casserole, carrots and peas, rolls, jello salad, deviled eggs and the most delicious homemade banana cake for dessert!
It was Adam’s birthday so we celebrated loud and proud – – what we Lamoreaux’s do best!
