* We kicked things off by going to see…. |

Suuuucccch a cute movie.
So good for the WHOLE family.
We LOVED it!
* Friday night we spent the evening over at my Mom and Dad’s house for the Misel Family Reunion part 1.
Since that part of my family descends from Germany – – my mom cooked all things GERMAN….Brats & sauerkraut.
* Saturday I turned 36.
I woke up to my front yard decorated with posters, streamers and glitter. EVERYWHERE.
Gotta love those peeps of mine.
* We took the kiddies to The Hangar Cafe for breakfast.
* I got to do some more shopping all by myself.
Went to a cute little boutique I haven’t been to in awhile and spotted this funny gem….
* Met some of my dearest friends for lunch at Morenos where they spoiled me rotten.
* Came home to fresh flowers and some of my very favorite treats from Joe and the kids.
* Then headed back to my parents house for
Misel Family Reunion Part 2.
We played games based around our family heritage and noshed on MORE German food – – words I can’t pronounce.
Those meatballs right there though {whatever they were called} were tasty and included a secret ingredient: Gingersnaps.
YuM!!!
* Came home pooped from they day’s festivities and celebrated one last time with ice-cream cupcakes.
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
Spiritually uplifted, yet again.
* Fell asleep on the couch with the family afterwards watching the old school ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’ movie. My kids LoVeD it. Joe and I died laughing at Gene Wilder, too. He kills it in that movie.
* Homemade chicken pot pie for dinner and chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

Going to cherish these last 2 days with the kiddos before they head back to school on Wednesday. Then I’m on a quest to round up ALL of their Halloween costumes and accessories before the week is over.
Wish me luck!
