I love finding good recipes.
I love SHARING good recipes even more.
Which is why I’m about to share…count em…THREE!
{And I can’t even really take credit for any of them!}
But they’re all good. Really good!
Crock Pot Chicken Pot Pie
{from my cute friend Molly}
This one is especially good on Sunday’s for some reason.
2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
A small bag of baby carrots, chopped
4 frozen chicken breasts
A package of Good Seasons Italian Dressing mix
2 cans cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup frozen corn
3/4 cup frozen peas
1 package of Grands refrigerated biscuits
Cheddar cheese
Place your potatoes and carrots at the bottom of your crockpot. Season with a little salt, pepper and onion powder. Place chicken breasts on top. Sprinkle with package of Good Seasons Dressing mix. Top with 2 cans of cream of chicken soup. Cook on low all day or HIGH for 5 hours.
30 minutes before serving, shred your chicken and add in your frozen peas and corn.
Bake your biscuits as directed on the package.
Serve chicken mixture over open biscuits and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Last week we tried THIS recipe.
Buffalo Chicken Garbage Bread via Finding a New Life through Food |
I for one….LOVED it.
The flavoring of it all was DEE-LiSh!
Here’s the key though. Cook it LONGER than it states. Like 10 minutes longer.
Joe took a bite into some raw pizza dough…and he was done.
Darn it.
{I used refrigerated Pillsbury pizza dough to speed up the prep time}.
I also used shredded rotisserie chicken. Another speedy- upper factor.
I’m all about speed when it comes to cooking dinner.
Do you blame me?
And then for Family Night…my bro-in-law William whipped up THIS recipe.
Copycat Wendy’s Frosty via Trains and Tutus |
I’ve seen this recipe floating around Pinterest for quite sometime now.
I was SO thrilled when William said that he was making it.
I was curious to see JUST HOW CLOSE it tasted to a Frosty.
Folks…it was P.D.C.
{Pretty Darn Close}.
It was YUMMMMMY!
And from what he said…..EASY.
Try it for your next dessert night. You won’t be disappointed.
Promise.
London gives them all 2 thumbs up!
