Raise your hand if one of your favorite things about Christmas is ALL of the yummy food that comes along with it.
{Wait. Please tell me I’m not the only one who looks forward to food like this.}
I’ve got so many yummy recipes to whip up this week that I thought I would share!
First up – – our Coombs family Christmas party is tomorrow night and we’re all bringing appetizers to share.
{I love me a good APP! and I don’t mean Angry Birds, ha.}
I’m bringing meatballs with sauce in the crockpot plus this yummy dip shared with me by my dear friend Melissa a couple of years back.
It. Is. SOOOOO. Good.
Bacon Cheese Dip
2 – 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 – 12 oz. pkg. shredded Swiss cheese
chopped green onions
1 cup of mayonnaise
Hormel bacon bits {or fresh bacon, cooked and chopped}
Mix all ingredients together and spread into a pie pan. Top with bacon bits. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Serve with tortilla chips or crackers.
For Christmas Eve we are heading over to my parents house and having mexican food. I’m making up a bean dip {not sure what kind – – anyone out there have a good recipe for that?} plus our very favorite green salsa. SO EASY! Just throw it all in a food processor.
Recipe HERE.
Every Christmas morning we make our Cinnamon Roll Casserole….. {my kids snarf this one down!}
Recipe HERE
And then for Christmas dinner, we’ll be back over at my parents house having the traditional ham and potatoes dinner.
Joe and I loved the sides I made for Thanksgiving SO much that I’m making and bringing them again. They’re a hit!
Would love for you guys to share YOUR Christmas recipes with me. Pretty please?!?
