Hot Fudge Recipe.

December 28, 2012 | Uncategorized

I know, I know…I put ‘Best Ever’ in front of A LOT of my recipes.
But I mean it.
I truly do.
I honestly ONLY post recipes on here that are tried and true and are the
  BEST of the BEST!
So you should know……
this Hot Fudge is irresistable.
As promised….today I’m sharing the recipe with you.

I quadrupled the recipe and made up some for my Neighbor Gifts this year.
They were a huge hit.
Homemade Hot Fudge
1 – 12 oz. bag Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips
2 sticks butter
2 cans of evaporated milk
4 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter and chocolate chips on low heat.  Add sugar and milk.  Blend well.  Boil then cook 8 minutes, continually stirring.

Add 1 tsp. vanilla after removing from heat.

It thickens as it sits.

WARNING:  You can’t have ‘just one’ taste with a spoon.  One becomes two and two becomes three and so on. Which is why I’m glad I gave all of my jars away. WAY too tempting!

I am already thinking of Neighbor Christmas gifts. What size of jar did you use? It looks like a pint size but I just want to double check. Thanks so much.

One other question – Do you refrigerate after you put the sauce in the jars.

Marci, what size labels did you use and when you ordered them did the Oh Fudge tag come with the pdf?

I believe they were 3" x 3". If you are ordering them through Michelle – just tell her you want the same ones you saw on my blog and she'll know what you are talking about ๐Ÿ™‚ xoxo
