Every year we get together with my siblings and their families for a little old fashioned
New Year’s Eve fun!
{And by old fashioned…I mean…we really act like old people and celebrate with the east coast at 10:00 instead of midnight!}
It was my year to host and here’s how the night went down….
We had plenty of party horns and hats…..
Plenty of finger foods at our finger tips…
Buffalo Chicken Dip. Sausage Balls. Peanut Butter Pretzel Truffles. Bean Dip. Pigs in a Blanket. Brownies. Fruit and Caramel Cream Cheese Dip.
My sister whipped up some bags for the kids to open every hour.
They included games and more party blowing horns!
{Sorry neighbors.}
Games are always a must with my family.
Catch Phrase. Identity Crisis.
Lots of Air Hockey tournaments.
{My sister’s victory cheer is still ringing in my ears!}
We toasted with sparkling white grape juice…
Which my kids thought was disgusting.
And we switched over the TV channel JUST IN TIME to help Anderson Cooper countdown the
ball drop.
We topped off the evening at 10:05 with sparklers.
It’s as exciting as we get!!
Thats right. Good old fashioned FAMILY FUN.
Doesn’t get much better than that!
