This sight in the $ bins always makes me SO happy to see.
It means the 4th of July is just around the corner and the 4th July to us = cooler temps in one of my most favorite spots on the earth…..southern Utah!

* It’s Father’s Day this weekend and I’ve spotted DAD’S rootbeer and cream soda at both Target and Costco. But hurry and go get em because they’ll be gone SOON!

It’s just:
1 vidallia onion chopped
Half a jar of mayo
2 cups of cheddar cheese
Bake in the oven until bubbly.
Dip crackers OR chips into it.
SOOOOO good!
* Meanwhile, over at the Dollar Tree….
I saw these cheap, plastic, patriotic hats and immediately thought…
They’d be perfect to hold chips at a 4th of July BBQ!
Also, they have tons of cute red, white and blue paper straws!
Elastic band lollipops?

* Fun Fact: I’ve never really loved Bahama Bucks.
I’d much rather have a hot fudge sundae with sprinkles than a shaved ice…who’s with me? But…
my kids LOVE it and we’ve been a couple of times since school let out.
The last time we were there I decided to try the Bahama Rama Mama {where they add ice-cream to it!}.
A few bites into it I was on cloud 9 thinking THIS IS THE BEST! It put shaved ice on a whole new level for me so I took a pic of it to recommend to you….
…but then halfway thru I felt like I was gonna barf and never wanted one ever again.
{SO SWEET!}

* Lastly…my mom is the activities day leader in her ward and look how cute these tithing piggy banks are that she made with her girls this week…
They made them out of the mini plastic water bottles.

It’s supposed to RAIN here in AZ this weekend and we could not be MORE excited about it. Our fingers AND toes are crossed. It’s been almost 100 days since our last rainfall.
