I don’t know about you but my kids need some SERIOUS motivation.
And since we just so happen to be heading to Disneyland NEXT WEEK {WoooHOO!}
I devised up my very own DISNEY DOLLARS scheme to whip their bums in gear. {Chuckle}.
I know Disneyland offers ACTUAL Disney Dollars that the kids can use in their stores BUT since we only have a week left to go…I decided to make up my own.
Dinseyland can get VERY expensive.
My kids want things in just about EVERY cute shop we go into.
In years past…when they were a little younger…we’d wait until the very last day there and then let them choose ONE item…$20 or under to purchase.
Now that they are older….I am implementing my DISNEY DOLLARS idea into full effect.
Here is the jist:
On our refrigerator now hangs this sign…
If they do these things…they get Disney Dollars added into their jars…
{Yes…getting our kids to SHOWER AND BRUSH TEETH without complaining is a serious issue around here!}
However much they ‘EARN’ is the exact amount they get to spend at the shops in Disneyland.
We started this yesterday and for the FIRST time in I don’t know HOW MANY months….
London slept in her OWN bed
for the ENTIRE night!!!
She even came into our room in the middle of the night and then said…”Wait…I wanna earn my Disney Dollars” and went BACK into her room. This is like ground breaking people.
She NEVER does this!
