Yesterday I threw a bridal shower for our darling babysitter.
She’s been babysitting for our kids since they were babies….
She is SUPER special to our family which is why I was SUPER excited to host her shower.
Here are some details from the festivities:
Her wedding colors are: coral, mint green and gray.
{LoVe!}
For centerpieces, I covered tin cans with scrapbook paper and embellished the tops with ribbon.
I then filled them with fresh flowers.
{Can’t ever go wrong with fresh flowers!}
I also decorated with two burlap banners.
I bought the banners plain, and then die cut the letters for ‘Mr. & Mrs.’ and ‘Love’ and hot glued them right onto the burlap.
For beverages, I served water and punch…
Water bottle labels, as well as food cards and favor tags
were all designed by Tipsy Graphics.
{LOVE working with Michelle at Tipsy Graphics.
She’s quickly become my go-to gal for labels and designs!}
As for the food, I served….
The take home favors might have just been my favorite.
Homemade sugar cookies packaged up like this…
The morning was LOTS of FUN and I couldn’t be more excited for our lil babysitter.
She’s got such a bright future ahead of her.
Can’t wait for the wedding now!!

I was looking for a venue that was modern with neutral colors & background and thus chose this place for my wedding reception this past summer.
Marci, is there any way I could convince you to share the recipe for those German Chocolate Brownies? They look divine and I would love to make some. Thank you!

Marci-
I was just telling my SIL the other day about something from your blog and said, "my friend posted…" and then I realized that even though I have been a reader for a long time and feel like we are friends (kindred spirits really) we don't actually know each other! ๐ So, I had to kind of explain to her that I don't know you for real, I just wish I did.
Anyway, I write a party planning blog (http://eventstocelebrate.net) and would LOVE to feature any/all of the great parties you post about. Contact me (evenstocelebrateblog@gmail.com) if you are interested. You'll get all the credit and I know my readers would LOVE your ideas!!
