This month’s Visiting Teaching lesson is on:
I know I say this each and every month but…
Gosh! {in my best Napoleon Dynamite voice}
this message is flippin awesome!
It’s one I think we ALL need to hear.
On the side bar of the VT website there is a short
video on this topic HERE.
I LOVE IT.
And this is what my handout is based around.
It stems from President Monson’s talk
{SUCH a good read!!!}
It talks all about looking through our own windows at people.
Do OUR own windows need cleaning?
Hence….. the Windex & glass cleaner this month.
Side Note: My 6 year old daughter seems to think that NO ONE is going to like getting this since it’s not candy or sweets. I re-assured her that as a mom/wife/sister – – I would LOVE it and that it’s a very useful need! ๐ My…how our ideas of ‘good gifts’ change a little, the older we get, right?
The Dollar Tree has window cleaner as well as Target, where I purchased their generic brand and the Windex wipes.
You could be super fancy and bring a laptop or ipad and show them the short 2 minute video clip.
Or….
You could print out and bring along President Monson’s talk to give to them HERE.

Also – – I am MORE than flattered when others
‘replicate’ my ideas and come up with their
‘own’ tags. I just
PLEASE ask that you give credit where credit

this original post. xoxo
Happy Visiting Teaching!

This is a great idea! I would love to get glass cleaner as a gift. Your link to download comes up as an error. Can you send this to me or look to see why this is happening?

Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us. I really like the work you do. Is there a way you can upload your handouts so I can print them via a photo store (ie. Walgreens photo– trying to save printer ink)?

I just wanted to share that I made these smaller and taped on Wipe N'Clear Lens Wipes…since I wear glasses I have a box of these from Costco. I also made enough of the handouts for Relief Society as my calling is Visiting Teaching Coordinator…and, sometimes it helps to inspire them with an idea to take and share like this along with the message printout. I try to do this by the middle of the month…so it just reminds them they still have visiting teaching to do.

Ohh, I've never tried the window wipes! I may be quite glad to get those… tell your daughter! ๐
Love this point of view! See this is why these are so important, we each glean different lessons from these messages!

Thanks Carolyn! ๐ Looooove the Window wipes! My only problem with them {and it's totally my fault} is that sometimes I don't seal them shut back tight enough and they dry out. Other than that – they're super handy! xoxo
