2 Things From My Birthday:
1. I got wind chimes!!!
You guys! Does this make me sound like a super old lady – – wanting wind chimes? LoL. Doesn’t matter. I have wanted these babies for a LONG time and my family surprised me with them. They are the extra big chimes which makes the sound that comes out of them sound EXTRA pretty.
{I promise I didn’t turn 62. Just 38, folks!}
2. Holy Cow! you can get a ton of FREE stuff on your bday!

I always knew about the ‘regular’ spots that gave out free food on your special day but this year…I discovered a slew of new places. I plan to share ALL of these finds in an upcoming blog post soon!
Until then – – just know – – Kneaders gives you a free dessert {no sign-up // just show them your I.D.}
and their mini pumpkin chocolate chip mousse cake is pretty much TO DIE FOR!!!

1. I’m wanting to change up the wall behind our TV in our family room. I really, really want to do a WHITE shiplap/plank wall.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I know it can be done on the cheap.
And I’ll 99.9% most likely hire someone to do it for me.
{Wood + nails + paint intimidate me. Sorta like yeast. I don’t know why. They just do}.
But where do I even begin???
2. THIS talk on having JOY in our lives.
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I LOVE it.
When the focus of our lives is on Jesus Christ and His gospel, we can feel joy regardless of what is happening—or not happening—in our lives.
-Elder Russel M. Nelson
Read it.
You will not be disappointed.

Thank you! Thank you! x 100 for all of your sweet Birthday messages, texts, phone calls and emails.
It made me feel so loved. It really did.
I feel so blessed to have such wonderful family members and friends, both near and far, who care so much about me and my sweet little family.
MUAH!

Happy birthday! 🙂
Thank you thank you! xoxo
There are tutorials online how to do ship lap walls. I'm planning to do it behind my tv as well!
I know but for some reason it is just so intimidating to me. Wood work and all 😉
