Christmas Day.
The kids woke us up at 7:00 am and then we all headed downstairs to see what Santa had brought.
This year was much different in that there were NO toys, NO Barbies, NO dolls….none of things that we’ve been so used to buying our kids in years past. This year was all about the electronics, clothes and {overpriced} shoes.
My favorite gift?
This picture of Cubby that I had made up for my family. Secretly, I had it done just.for.me! It’s called “The General” and CAN YOU EVEN with it?!?
My side of the family came over for Christmas brunch around 10 am.
We had our usual egg and sausage breakfast casserole, cinnamon roll casserole and hashbrowns.
Once everyone left…..
It was nap time for Joe and I. Because even though we didn’t have to stay up late putting things together…we’re still old. And tired. LoL.
We headed over to my parent’s house for Christmas dinner around 5:00. We stayed in our jammies, feasted on ham and potatoe casserole, opened up more presents and played games.
Is this not the most clever and cute way to gift some cold hard cash?!?
We didn’t finish up the fun until around 10:00 at night. It was perfectly perfect.
