* Friday the kids invited some friends to hang with us at Flipside for a few hours.
The day consisted of laser tag, arcade games, bowling.
It was the perfect last hoor-ah before school starts back up this week.
* Friday night I made dinner for a sweet family in our neighborhood {I made THIS – – if you like ziti, you’re sure to love this recipe} and we stayed in and watched shows.

* Saturday morning Grant had hip-hop practice so the the rest of us kicked it at McDs for breakfast next door.

I hit up some Goodwills, London played at her cousin’s house, Joe worked and the boys and I snuggled on the couch.
I have warned my boys that even when they’re 18, snuggling me on the couch will still exist.
Whether they like it or not!
LoL.
I love them oh so much.
* Saturday night date night with one of our favorite couples HERE. So much fun. We capped off the night with dessert at Sodalicious…
I gave the peanut butter with Nutella cookie a whirl and YUM! I’m not even a Nutella fan but this cookie is where it’s at!
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
{Week 2 of 8:30 church and I’m still not a fan}.
* Naps and meatloaf for dinner followed by an evening family walk around our ‘hood.
Winters in AZ are pretty amazing.
It’s been 70 degrees here lately and that’s a good thing because ….

This is totally me!!!
I have lived in AZ for 16 years now and it has turned me into a cold weather WIMP! Prior to moving here I lived in: Virginia, Utah and Idaho and I am certain that I could never live in any of those places again because of the cold.
